Ireland vs Denmark Match Preview

The Republic of Ireland are one win away from qualifying for the 2018 World Cup finals as they face a play-off decider against Denmark on Tuesday night.

Martin O’Neill’s side secured a goalless draw in Copenhagen in the first leg, and a win at the Aviva Stadium will hand the Boys in Green their tickets to Russia.

Ireland needed a play-off to secure their place at Euro 2016, beating Bosnia 2-0 at home following a 1-1 draw in the first leg – and O’Neill is hoping history repeats itself.
